Haneefah Abdurrahman Lekki is an award-winning tech community builder passionate about improving tech communities in Africa. She is the community manager at Ingressive for Good, a non-profit organisation dedicated to training 1,000,000 African youths and placing 5,000 of them in jobs. The organisation’s mission is to create and increase the earning power of African youth through this training. Haneefah manages tech programs, scholarships, networks, and a student community in the organisation.
Haneefah is also a talented writer behind the Ingressive for Good newsletters, delivering valuable insights and updates to the community. Her commitment to making an impact in the tech industry and empowering women led her to co-found the Lasu Developers, the first developer community at Lagos State University, and Hayas Foundation, a non-profit focused on equipping women with essential skills for their personal growth.
Haneefah was a beneficiary of WACREN’S 2018 Physical Computing with Python program using Raspberry Pi, and her dedication to building a community for community managers has earned her the Community Manager of the Year award at CMX.
With expertise in program strategy, partnership management, event planning, and fostering authentic relationships, Haneefah drives social impact through community-driven initiatives.
As an MBA candidate, she explores new business ideas and perspectives while embracing global opportunities.
