Tomilola Majekodunmi is the CEO of Bankly, a lifestyle bank that helps people save money and access financial services more easily. They’re on a mission to make banking more affordable and accessible, especially for people excluded from traditional banking services.
Tomilola, a physiology graduate, has over ten years of experience in investment banking and portfolio management. She is committed to driving financial inclusion by building products that improve the quality of life. She started her career as a financial analyst at Meristem Wealth Management. Afterwards, she led a team as Head of Business at ALEDIN Nano Limited, where she managed and developed products for banking the unbanked.
Tomilola’s journey towards financial inclusion began with a collaboration on a product named SmartCredit. As she worked on this project, her vision for a fintech app started to take shape. This vision eventually led to the co-founding of Bankly, a platform that enables financial inclusion and access for Nigerians, particularly those in areas without physical banks.
